The Sapper's Story sets out to put that right. Six novels, one every six months, following Royal Engineers through the campaigns of the Second World War. Each book stands on its own. Read together, they trace one of the most demanding operational records of the British Army through six years of war.
The series follows real units on real ground, with fictional men inside them. The men are imagined. The ground they fought on is not.
